The Grand Bear's Den Getaway
Sophisticated contemporary style permeates this upscale home with comfy living room furnishings, and an ultra-sleek open kitchen with premium appliances, gleaming countertops, and a modern four-seat breakfast bar. For formal dining, there are two round tables that seat six people each. As for the entertainment...it’s endless. Your kids will have a blast “under the Big Top,” in the creatively imagined circus-themed activity room with numerous arcade games, and a basketball shooting game, among other fun distractions. For more grown-up style fun and games, head to the Sports Loft with its own sports bar and multiple TV screens so you can catch all the games at once. There’s also a comfortable wraparound couch, and a billiards table. A second-floor balcony also harbors ping pong and foosball tables, along with a pleasant seating area when you just want to sip a beverage and take in the view. This home has a REME Halo system installed in the A/C to help with the cleanliness and sanitization of the air. You can make every night a film festival in the galactic-themed movie theater with oversized cinema seating. Make sure you pop some popcorn—kettle corn and movie theater butter style. Both you and your kids won’t believe your eyes when it comes to the themed bedrooms. Designers put their imaginations into overdrive with a safari homage, featuring two sets of twin bunk-beds. Not to be outdone, there’s also an amazing candy lovers’ golden ticket to fun with the creative props adorning two sets of twin bunks. Adult sleeping quarters are classically curated with top-of-the-line bedding, plenty of space, chic décor, and massive en suite baths with dual sinks, large showers, and sculptural soaking tubs you’ll never want to get out of. The home’s spectacular pool with its massive rock waterfall and spillover spa should have its own zip code as it overlooks the 18th hole. Expansive, with in-water lounge chairs, it’s a heavenly place to soak up the sun and relax after long days spent at the theme parks or on the golf courses. Kids will love the slide—and you’ll love the second pool table that’s waiting for you on the patio. The outdoor summer kitchen, equipped with a large grill, can help serve up something delicious for the group—-like some scrumptious Florida barbecue. When you’re ready to explore the entirety of the amenity-rich 2,300-acre Reunion Resort, or to make that short trip to Disney—there’s a shuttle service to drive you to and from the theme parks or anywhere on the resort property. The golfers in your group can hit the links at all three of Reunion’s epic PGA Championship courses, including the newest Jack Nicklaus-designed course. Between games, visit one of the 10 premier swimming pools, including the Seven Eagles pavilion, featuring relaxing jacuzzies and a crisp infinity pool, overlooking stunning views of the courses. Treat the kids to a trip to the five-acre water park with a huge lazy river and twisting waterslides. Best Place Ever
My family and friends had the time of our lives and would definitely go back soon! My daughters five and her friends were around same age and younger and all were amazed with the lion king room, Willy wonka room, and beautiful pool. I don’t think any of us left the property our entire stay in Orlando. Each room can be considered a “master”, so much room for many guests comfortably. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and right next to Disney and the host was amazing at coordinating.
